Job Responsibilities
As a full-time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) at Gowrie NSW, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and educating young children. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Curriculum Development:
- Designing and implementing high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational programs in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Ensuring that the learning environment supports all areas of children’s development, focusing on creativity, curiosity and a love of learning.
- Child Development:
- Observing and assessing children’s progress, documenting their development and using these assessments to plan individualized learning experiences.
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through engaging activities and meaningful interactions.
