We are currently seeking a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This role involves obtaining comprehensive health histories, performing detailed physical examinations and delivering targeted treatments using a range of osteopathic techniques. The practitioner will develop individualized treatment plans, communicate with various stakeholders and maintain thorough patient records.

Position: Manual Osteopathic Practitioner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

  1. Patient History:
    • Collect comprehensive health histories from new patients, including information on general health, lifestyle, diet and current symptoms.
  2. Physical Examination:
    • Perform physical examinations to assess general posture and identify muscle, joint and spinal restrictions or tension using palpation techniques.
  3. Treatment Methods:
    • Administer treatments involving a combination of gentle and manipulative techniques, including stretching, joint mobilization and osteopathic manipulation.
  4. Treatment Planning:
    • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients and offer recommendations on lifestyle and dietary changes.
  5. Communication:
    • Liaise with ICBC, insurance companies, healthcare practitioners and other team members regarding patient needs.
  6. Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed records of patient progress and manage medical information using electronic charting software.
  7. Collaboration:
    • Work in conjunction with other practitioners to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care.
