Your Opportunity:
Greenheck Group is seeking a highly motivated Engineering student to join our team for a co-op position from January to August 2025. In this role, you will assist the product development engineers at various stages of the product development process. This will involve working on new product development, redesigns and custom design requests. You will also be responsible for providing technical support on the shop floor and assisting the engineering team with product drawings and specifications. This role offers you the chance to have a meaningful impact on the business while learning about the company’s operations and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in laboratory testing of GRD (Grilles, Registers and Diffusers) products, which includes evaluating throw performance, measuring noise levels and recording pressure data across various airflow ranges.
- Analyze test data, produce technical reports and communicate findings to the engineering team.
- Help develop new product CAD drawings, 3D models and associated documentation required for new product launches.
- Support the engineering team in prototyping new product designs and provide design feedback.
- Participate in projects focused on cost reduction and quality improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program with a scheduled graduation within the next three years or less.
- Ability to make independent decisions and take initiative.
- Experience with CAD software is preferred (e.g., AutoDesk, SolidWorks, Inventor).
