Position Overview:
The Part-Time Workforce Development/OSHA Facilitator plays a crucial role in supporting the WDCE (Workforce Development and Continuing Education) team and instructors in executing training programs. Key responsibilities include managing online classrooms, overseeing test administration, creating educational materials (both printed and digital) and arranging physical classrooms for in-person sessions. The role may also involve occasional administrative tasks related to training program management.
All duties must be performed with a strong emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service to students. The position allows for partial remote work, provided that a reliable internet connection is maintained.
Essential Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Problem-solving abilities, particularly in resolving technical issues
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is advantageous
- Experience with video conferencing tools is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Facilitation and Classroom Assistance (50%): Support WDCE staff and instructors by directly facilitating classes and aiding in managing the classroom environment. This includes both virtual and in-person settings.
- Production and Setup of Course Materials (30%): Aid in the creation of course materials and the preparation of virtual instructor-led classes using the learning management system.
- Administrative and Clerical Support (15%): Perform clerical tasks related to training, such as handling course sign-in sheets, student evaluations and finalizing course files after completion.
- Additional Duties (5%): Assist with various other tasks as assigned by the WDCE unit.
Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the unitβs needs, budget constraints and the candidate’s qualifications.
